Fursona

Fursona is a homegrown business based on the south coast of the UK, and specialises in custom built fursuits, tails, and other furry accessories. Each piece is completely custom, drawn up to your own designs, and hand made with the highest quality foams, furs and fixtures. Whatever you want, we can find a way to do it. From bats to baboons, budgies to bison, we have ideas for them all, and can help you realise that character that's been lurking in your brain crying to be set free. We excel at realistic styles, but are just as at home with toony or anywhere in between.

We are constantly experimenting with new techniques and technologies to bring you the best possible creation. For instance, one of our current development tracks is resin casting, allowing us to create incredibly delicate facial structures and highly detailed accessories. Another exciting project is our realistic bat wings. Not just a simple thing strapped to you back, these wings will be be able to be worn independently or incorporated into a full suit to give an unprecedented spectacle. We are firmly of the mind that 'anything can be done given enough time and effort' so whatever you can imagine, set us the challenge and we'll try and make it a reality.

Albrecht

Chibi Al Albrecht on a postbox

A Brighton based furry programmer, and man in charge of the madness, Al is the man to ask if you have any queries or suggestions. With a background in engineering and business, he started by turning his hand to tail making for a few friends, and soon discovered how much fun it was to make critters.

His well received early pieces brought in a few comissions and things snowballed from there. He now spends all his spare time carving foam, splicing fur and polishing eyes. Sometimes he even has a chance to sleep.

Al is also a keen chess and card game player, and although he has so far resisted the call of WOW, has rather a fondness for Total War and Wipeout. Currently he is in the process of creating brown trousers via Dead Space.

You'll often find him luking on the UKFur forums if you want to meet more furs or just fancy a chat. He's also usually at the LF and Brighton meets so maybe he'll see you there.

The Artists

To produce excellent fursuits, we first must have a good idea of what your minds eye conceives. This is where your concept art comes in. If you already have some, then that's great, as long as they're detailed enough then I can work with those to create your critter. If you don't however, then we have great artists on staff to help you realise your thoughts and give me what I need to make your imagination come to life.
